Position: Field Project Officer
Location: Mahankal Municipality, Gotikhel, Lalitpur
No. of Vacancy: 1
Reporting to: DMD focal person Head office
Duration: August 2025 to December 2026.
Position Summary:
The Field Project officer serves as the overall in-charge of the project at the field level, ensuring the successful planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of all project components. The position requires strong leadership, team management, technical oversight, and coordination with local government, stakeholders, and communities to ensure project objectives are met on time and with quality.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or a related field.
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in project coordination or management in development or humanitarian contexts.
- Â Strong background in implementing integrated projects in WASH, shelter, DRR, and livelihoods.
- Experience in team supervision and field-level operations management.
Key Competencies:
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Good understanding of local governance, community mobilization, and resilience programming.
- Skilled in planning, reporting, and budget tracking at field level.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Nepali and local languages is an advantage.
